These terms apply when you use Shopzo at shopzoapp.com or in the Shopzo app. By using Shopzo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Shopzo.

What Shopzo does

Shopzo builds meal plans, grocery lists and cooking steps based on the budget, household and preferences you enter. It's a planning tool. You decide what to buy, cook and eat.

Prices are estimates

Grocery prices and package sizes are estimates based on Walmart prices we've collected. Prices change and differ by store, so your total at checkout may be higher or lower than shown. Shopzo doesn't sell groceries and can't guarantee any price, product or availability.

Nutrition is not medical advice

Calorie, protein and portion suggestions are general estimates from public dietary guidelines. They are not medical, nutritional or dietary advice and aren't a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian. If you're pregnant, have a medical condition, or follow a diet from your doctor, check with them before following any plan.

Allergies and food safety

Shopzo leaves out recipes with the allergens you select, but ingredients and labels vary by brand. Always read package labels and ask about cross-contact if you have an allergy. Follow safe food handling: cook food to safe temperatures, refrigerate within 2 hours, and eat leftovers within the times shown. You're responsible for how you store, prepare and serve food.

Your account

You can use Shopzo without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from My account.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Shopzo. That includes trying to break or overload the service, accessing other people's data, scraping it at scale, or using it for anything illegal.

Links to stores

Shopzo may link to Walmart or other retailers. Some links may be affiliate links that earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Purchases are between you and the retailer, under their terms.

Free and paid plans

Shopzo is free while we launch. If we add paid plans, we'll show the price and terms before you're charged, and you'll be able to cancel.

Our content

Shopzo's design, recipes, text and software belong to Shopzo. Food photos are from Unsplash photographers under the Unsplash License. You may use your own plans and lists for personal use.

No guarantees

Shopzo is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, always available, or that any plan will meet your budget, health or taste goals.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Shopzo isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any grocery costs, food-related illness, allergic reactions, or other harm arising from your use of the service. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid Shopzo in the past 12 months, if any.

Changes and ending use

We may update Shopzo or these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above. We may suspend access for misuse. You can stop using Shopzo anytime.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
