Privacy Policy

What we collect
You can use Shopzo with or without an account. The details you enter to build a plan (household, age, sex, height, weight, activity, nutrition targets, food preferences, allergies, budget, and the meals you like or skip) are always saved in your own browser using local storage.
If you create an account, we store your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares: your name, email and profile picture) along with a copy of those plan details, so your plan is the same on every device. We never see or store your Google password.
If you send us a message through the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter so we can reply.
How we use it
- Your plan details are used to build your meal plan and grocery list, and, if you have an account, to keep them in sync across your devices.
- Your email address is used to sign you in. We won't send you marketing emails unless you ask for them.
- Contact messages are used only to respond to you and improve Shopzo.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Links to Walmart and other stores
Shopzo may link to Walmart or other retailers so you can buy your groceries. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. When you visit a retailer's site, their own privacy policy applies, and they may use cookies to track the referral.
Service providers
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site. Contact form messages are stored with Supabase so we can reply. Accounts and saved plans are stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider. If you choose "Continue with Google," Google handles that sign-in. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and food photos are loaded from Unsplash, which can see standard request details such as your IP address.
Deleting your information
If you have an account, open My account and choose Delete my account to permanently remove your account and everything saved with it. Signing out also clears your plan from that browser. Without an account, you can clear your saved plan at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. To delete a contact message you sent us, ask us through the Contact page.
Health information
Calorie and protein suggestions are general estimates based on public dietary guidelines, not medical advice. Always check package labels for allergens.
Children
Shopzo is intended for adults planning meals for themselves and their households. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. When paid plans launch, this policy will be updated to explain how payments are handled.
